Rule # 6
Most of the problems of the world stem from linguistic mistakes and simple misunderstandings. Don’t ever take words at face value. When you step into the zone of love, language as we know it becomes obsolete. That which cannot be put into words can only be grasped through silence.
-The Forty Rules of Love
Admiring the beauty of language is one thing but appreciating the true language is totally different. And there’s a time when language keeps a person at such a bay that he’s misunderstood by the world and the whole image of that person is destroyed and on the other hand, all the problems are solved through words and speech. But it’s only love that resolves all the matters with silence for silence is the language of God and it can never be wrong.
Silence
When grasped
Becomes the language
of love
and peace
And tells
That’s never been told.
