Rule # 7- Essence of Solitude

Essence of Solitude by Arsh

Rule # 7

Loneliness and solitude are two different things. When you are lonely, it is easy to delude yourself into believing that you are on the right path. Solitude is better for us, as it means being alone without feeling lonely. But eventually it is best to find a person, the person who will be your mirror. Remember, only in another person’s heart can you truely see yourself and the presence of God within you.

-The Forty Rules of Love

Acquainting someone is hard but what about some one who has been living inside you since you were in the womb? I find the best in me, in my heart, in my soul and that I realize when I am in solitude. Knowing the essence of solitude gives you nothing but speechless surprises. Once upon a time, I found my God in it 🙂

Locked in the body

Was the child

I searched for…

And one night

I found Him

In solitude.

-He is beautiful!
