40 Rules of Enlightenment

Rule # 25 – Between Heaven and Hell

Between Heaven and Hell by Arsh

Rule # 25

Hell is the here and now. So is heaven. Quit worrying about hell or dreaming about heaven, as they are both present inside this very moment. Every time we fall in love, we scend to heaven. Every time we hate, envy, or fight someone, we tumble straight into the fires of hell.

-The Forty Rules of Love

Accosted by ones own thoughts, sometimes, one is, when he is stuck between heaven or hell. Yes it seems hard to understand but it has a meaning, a deep one indeed. One finds best and worst at the same time and gets stuck between the two. The best denies the worst and the worst beautifies itself hence enclosing the best into its own curtain. The person one loves the most becomes the person one hates more than the most at once, all because the fire of hatred catches him way too smartly. So it’s never about getting stuck between the fire and paradise. Living in the middle gives one the freedom to choose either to get the best or make the worst the best for him. It;s always about the right choices being made at the right time in a wise manner.

The thoughts accost

The heart to surrender

The mind catches the glimpse

of the best to render

The fingers move

towards the lender

The arm betrays

in such tender.

The lips move

to speak the truth

The ears stand

towards the conversation booth

The right reveals

with a trend

Which is just

supposed to mend.

Confusion ends

and a Life begin

The pathways extend

hence feet veering.

The way is lost

for there comes a gang

The journey ends

With such a bang.
