Rule # 28- Living in the Present

Living in the Present by Arsh

Rule # 28

The past is an interpretation. The future is an illusion. The world does not move through time as if it were a straight line, proceeding from the past to the future. Instead time moves through and within us, in endless spirals.
Eternity does not mean infinite time, but simply timelessness.
If you want to experience eternal illumination, put the past and the future out of your mind and remain within the present moment.

-The Forty Rules of Love

A present is always a present and who doesn’t like that? We stay in the past, think about how upside down it was, ruin our future with it, and hence be unhappy in the present. But why can’t we just let go our past and forget about the future to make our present the most special gift to ourselves? That’s the least we can do, of course. We are living in a beautiful world. All we need is those eyes to catch the beauty. Present is always beautiful, for it’s a “present”.

Allude or delude,

Nothing will continue

And stress thee out.

The spiral journey

within thou

Is endless

But beautiful.

Go seek your pathway,

go find yourself!

Life is a present

If thou just start

Living in the present.

-The eternal journey of amusement.
